If you accidentally deleted a file or made changes by accident. These are the steps you need to follow to restore a file(s) from our Jetbackup 5 backup vault.
How to restore file(s) using JetBackup 5 (All files or individual file)
- Log into cPanel
- Locate JetBackup 5 under the Files section
- Click on Home Directory from under the Restore & Download section
- Select the date which you want to restore from and if you want to select an individual file from this specific date. Click on Change Files Selection under the date you have selected. Now you will be able to select the files you want to restore, click on Select File after you have selected all the files you want. Once you are set, click on Restore or Download at the bottom.
- Finalize the item you want to restore on the new pop up screen, then click on Restore Selected Items when you are ready
If you are restoring the whole Home Directory (Without selecting individual files), the system will automatically restore the whole home directory everything for you. Just sit back and hang tight.
If you are downloading the backup, the system will fetch the files from the backup server and in a few minutes the system will generate a link for you to download on the side bar in JetBackup (Download).
