If you accidentally deleted a database or made changes by accident. These are the steps you need to follow to restore a database from our Jetbackup 5 backup vault.
How to restore database using JetBackup 5
- Log into cPanel
- Locate JetBackup 5 under the Files section
- Click on Databases from under the Restore & Download section
- Select the database you want to restore (You can select multiple). If you want to select a specific date for that database, click on Choose Other Backup. You should see a list of available dates for that database. Once you are ready, click on Restore or Download.
- Finalize the item you want to restore on the new pop up screen, then click on Restore Selected Items when you are ready
If you are downloading the backup, the system will fetch the files from the backup server and in a few minutes the system will generate a link for you to download on the side bar in JetBackup (Download).
