If you accidentally deleted a file, email, database, DNS record or cronjob from your hosting account or if you wish to restore your account completely. These are the steps you need to follow to restore from our Jetbackup 5 backup vault.

How to restore an account using JetBackup 5 (All files, settings, database, DNS, cronjob fully restored)

  1. Log into cPanel
  2. Locate JetBackup 5 under the Files section
  3. Click on Full Backups from under the Restore & Download section
  4. Select the date which you want to restore from. Once the date has been selected, click on Restore at the bottom
  5. Finalize the item you want to restore on the new pop up screen, then click on Restore Selected Items when you are ready.

By default, Jetbackup will restore and overwrite everything, so select only the items you want to restore.

If you are restoring the account, the system will automatically restore everything for you. Just sit back and hang tight.
If you are downloading the account backup, the system will fetch the files from the backup server and in a few minutes the system will generate a link for you to download on the side bar in JetBackup (Download).
